A parting message from Krissie...
Well my friends, the time has come for me to bid you all a fond farewell. It's been one hell of a ride. For the best part of ten years, Triaxis and all it's members, friends and fans have been a huge part of my life. I have had the best fun with some of the most talented musicians I have had the privilege of sharing a stage with. I have met more people in the last ten years than I can count and have come to regard a good number as dear friends. I have performed more gigs than I thought possible, played in places in the UK and Europe that I didn’t know existed and romped around a stage at huge festivals. Thank you to everyone who made my last gig on Friday, it was something spectacular. I have had an experience many only ever dream about and I exceptionally grateful that I have had that.
But times change and things move on. It’s time for me to hang up the mic for a little, concentrate on my business, my family and myself.
My eternal gratitude to CJ and Giles for giving me the chance to add my voice to Triaxis, and we’ve had so many fun times along the way. Thanks to Owen Crawford as well, for giving me some amazing songs to sing and pushing my vocals to places even I though were impossible.
Gareth and Matt, it has been a joy to get to know you, perform on a stage with you and see you settled in to the fold. You are both amazing musicians and firm friends.
Becky, what a bassist!! You really are the real deal when it comes to women in metal. Your energy and passion for music is unmatched. But remember….there are no baked beans dispensers in any of the Travelodge hotel bathrooms.
And Glyn, what can I say? The music you’ve given me to add lyrics to has been some of the most creative and imaginative stuff I’ve ever had the privalege of listening to. You’re one hell of a guitarist.
I’m proud to call you all family.
To the fans who have supported this crazy adventure, I don’t think I will ever truly be able to express what your support has meant to me, personally. I know you will continue to support Triaxis in its next chapter and I hope you’ll give the new singer all the love and support you’ve shown me.
But for now, it’s farewell my friends and it truly has been amazing.
Love always, and stay at the front
From Glyn, Becky, Matt and Gareth:
A very heartfelt thank you for every note that has come out of your mouth with Triaxis (in its many incarnations!) … Both in the studio and on the stage, you are a force to be marveled. You have given the band a sound that has been enjoyed by so many over the last 10 years, and your talent along with your unfaltering drive has helped us create success and amazing memories together for Triaxis members past and present. Above all, you have been a precious friend to us (and it helps that you're a hell of a lot of fun!). So of course, we are so sad to see you leave, but we understand and appreciate every reason you have, the music lives on along with our friendship. Our decision to continue Triaxis with a new frontperson was difficult to make, but it means the world to us to have your blessing and share in our anticipation for the future. We wish you all the best and thank you for everything!
To Triaxis fans and friends, a huge thank you for Friday night. What a fabulous crowd! Some had traveled many miles and it was mind-blowing to see the room brimming with an audience who sung back every word. We couldn't have asked for a better send-off for Krissie. Your support through the journey so far has made us so happy and we look forward to sharing the new chapter of Triaxis with you in the new year.'
